Produced by the forward‑thinking team at Adegas Terra de Asorei, the Pazo Torrado 1953 Sparkling Albariño Brut is a remarkable expression of innovation in one of Spain’s most celebrated white wine regions. Based in Rías Baixas in Galicia’s Salnés Valley — a maritime appellation renowned for its crisp, aromatic Albariño wines — Terra de Asorei is a family‑run collective of growers dedicated to showcasing the inherent quality of their coastal vineyards and the historic legacy of Albariño in this corner of northwest Spain.

This sparkling wine is crafted from 100% Albariño, the signature grape of Rías Baixas, chosen for its distinctive aromatic intensity, vibrant acidity and ability to reflect the Atlantic‑influenced terroir. Using the traditional Champenoise method, the wine undergoes extended aging on the lees to develop fine, persistent bubbles and a beautifully integrated texture that elevates the varietal’s natural character.

On the palate and nose, the Pazo Torrado 1953 Brut delivers an enticing bouquet of floral and dry nut aromas framed by citrus and ripe orchard fruit, leading to a fresh, balanced, and lively profile with a fine mousse and elegant finish. Its straw‑yellow hue with gold reflections hints at the wine’s depth and complexity.

The “1953” name honors the first Albariño Wine Festival in Cambados, a milestone that helped propel Albariño from a local treasure to an internationally recognised white wine. This sparkling iteration represents both a celebration of that heritage and a bold step into new stylistic territory for Albariño lovers
