The Muga Rioja Selección Especial is a refined red wine from Rioja, Spain, crafted by Bodegas Muga. It is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Graciano, and Mazuelo, fermented in oak vats with indigenous yeasts and aged for 26 months in French oak barrels.
 
This wine presents a deep black-cherry, wine-red color and an intense nose with aromas of ripe fruit, clove, vanilla, chocolate, and cocoa. On the palate, it offers polished tannins, a well-balanced backbone, and sharp acidity, ensuring great aging potential. The finish is long and complex, with returning hints of ripe fruit and toasted nuances.
