Domaine Marc Delienne may be the new kid on the block, but it packs serious pedigree. In 2015, Marc Delienne left behind the hustle of Paris and a career in IT to chase his passion for wine — and he didn’t just dip a toe in; he dove headfirst. Mentored by legends like Eloi Dürrbach of Domaine de Trévallon and Alain Graillot at Domaine de Fa, Marc honed his craft with the best. From day one, the estate was converted to organic farming, embracing biodynamic principles and low-intervention winemaking to let the land speak for itself.
Avalanche de Printemps — literally a "Spring Avalanche" — is a vibrant, early-drinking cuvée crafted from old Gamay vines (40 to 80 years old!) growing on the southeastern slopes of Fleurie. Whole-bunch maceration in concrete tanks, gentle daily pump-overs, and no punching down ensure a soft, expressive wine. After pressing, it’s aged right there in concrete — pure, unfiltered expression.
