Taste: This Chardonnay offers a bright minerality with aromas and flavors of light lemon, ripe green apple, wet stone, and white flowers. There are also hints of honeysuckle and discreet vanilla.
 
The vineyard is run by some proper feel-good wine folk, focusing on biodynamic farming methods and low intervention winemaking practices. Meaning a wine that is produced in a sustainable manner with none of the nasty stuff that you would find in a plonky supermarket chardonnay. 
 
The vines are planted on limestone soil with a south-facing aspect, contributing to a crisp and mineral character of the wine which shows some serious elegance in the glass. 
 
This wine tends to pair excellently with chicken, trout and even eggs benedict.
