Hello Darling!
 
Darling Cellars is a winery in the scenic west coast of South Africa, from a charming little place called Darling (As the name would suggest!). South Africa is a hot and sunny country, but there are pockets of land along the West Coast (like Darling) that experience cool ocean breezes from the Atlantic ocean - providing superb micro-climates for grape growing. Darling Cellars loves to honour the long winemaking tradition of the area by producing wines from grapes grown from beautiful old bush vines - which results in wines bursting with more concentrated fruit flavours. 
 
The Darling Cellars Chocoholic is one of its kind. In a stroke of brilliance, the winemaker created a wine from pinotage grapes (which is a grape only produced in South Africa), but also added their own Italian twist by making it in an appassimento style (usually seen only seen in places like Puglia in Italy). As a result, the Chocoholic wine is rich and velvety with flavours of black cherry, red plum, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and turkish delight.
